A Fracture in Time

~Can we feel isolated in such a vast space? Yes, we can, and many of us have...The Universe, our planet, our country, our state, our city, our homes, and lastly our minds. With the first and the last being most comparable. When we comprehend the vastness of our Universe we often question our individual importance. The same thing happens when we isolate our thoughts into negatives, self-doubt and the ever speeding passage of time. If you feel you have to isolate yourself, do so only for a short period of time, and spend that time in quiet conversation with your mind and your thoughts. I have wasted to many conversations with my thoughts trying to rationalize the irrational. I believe isolation, for short periods of time, can benefit the soul....just don't set up shop there, it can grow very dark~

Passing Through...

Welcome to my Blog! This page is a continuation of my Written Blog, entitled In the Mind of Me. I love to write poetry, yet I never sit down and force myself to write. It comes at a whim or when the spirit moves me to do so. The images i create are another way for me to connect my feelings, thoughts and memories to the world outside of mine. I am usually open with my words, I speak freely. I usually don't give narrative with my images, unless a dialog is started by a viewer. If someone takes the time to share with me any emotion that they take from my image then i very much welcome an open discussion. I find, more times than not, that the viewer usually interprets one of my images the way it was intended to be seen...and by that i mean they feel something, regardless if it was what I was feeling when i created it.~~Clara Wilson
